Meet Nancy
Nancy is a certified Reiki master with seven years of experience in the healing art of Reiki. Her practice is unique in that she combines her Reiki skills with the life lessons she’s encountered on her own path. Nancy uses empathy, intuition and inspiration from her own healing journey to shape the values and ethics that she prides herself on, including authenticity, uniqueness, an open mind and freedom of spirit.
Coming from a life where struggle and trauma were prevalent, Nancy was able to stand in her own power to take hold of her dreams and find the light within herself, which puts her in the position to relate to others who have been through or are experiencing trauma in their own lives.
Nancy found Reiki when she needed it most, and used it to help herself heal. From there, after seeing the amazing results of this energetic practice, she studied Reiki under Kelly Schwegel, BSE, MSE, Ed.S, Reiki Master, and obtained certification. Prior to this, she spent more than 20 years working with children with disabilities, and has also worked with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This background in healthcare has allowed Nancy to draw upon a wealth of knowledge and experience to utilize in her Reiki practice. Her goal is to meet her clients where they are, and get to the heart of the physical, mental and emotional hardships they are facing so that she can address their pain points with healing energy.
Nancy prioritizes empathetic listening, placing her focus on each individual and their unique needs to create a customized healing experience from the inside out, complete with oils and sound catered to each client. She seeks to offer a safe healing space without judgment, where inner depths can be gently explored to get to the root of obstacles and a shifting of limiting belief systems can be achieved. Having studied chakra systems, meta physics, and other spiritual modalities, Nancy’s approach is based on radical self-acceptance, self-care, and self-love. She positions herself as a guide to support people and empower them to take control of their own healing journey. She believes everyone has the power to stand up, be seen and heard, and find the courage within to create their dream life, and that Reiki can be an integral part of that process.
Ultimately, Nancy helps her clients learn to go beyond just surviving, and into the realm of thriving, using Reiki as a conduit to heal, transform and experience true peace and deep joy.
